Using six very different images, I created this fantasy concept poster. I want it to tell the story of a girl who is swinging from a tire swing, adventuring from her original surroundings. The tree from which the swing suspended from, grows out of the book pages, connecting the girl to where she came from, but is supporting her to branch out within her life. I want it to give the feel of a pop up book, but real. Her world is within the book, and she is branching out from where she is most comfortable (in the book), to being free and adventurous of a new world(outside the window) yet still connected to her roots (the tree and swing).  The hardest part was getting the roots to look realistic as I had to create them on photoshop. I learned to blend photos into one another while making them look realistic.
